2. Bài mẫu
The two maps illustrate the current layout of a housing estate and the proposed redevelopment of the same area.
Overall, the estate is set to undergo substantial redevelopment. The existing four-bedroom houses will be replaced by a wider range of smaller homes, while several recreational facilities and communal spaces will be introduced. In addition, the road system will be redesigned, and much of the existing greenery will be removed.
At present, the front section of the estate features several four-bedroom houses arranged along a curved private road and surrounded by trees. Following the redevelopment, a straight road will run through the middle of this part of the estate, with a lake on one side and a tennis court on the other. To accommodate these new facilities, the existing houses and much of the surrounding greenery will be cleared.
The rear section currently follows a similar layout, consisting of more four-bedroom houses bordered by trees. Under the proposed plan, this part of the estate will be reorganised around a central flower garden enclosed by a newly designed loop of private road. The original houses will be replaced by a variety of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes surrounding the garden, while a large parking area will be constructed at the back of the estate. As in the front section, many of the existing trees will be removed to make way for the new development.
