What kind of jobs do young Vietnamese people like to do?
Do young Chinese people prefer to choose an interesting job or a job with a high salary?
Do you think it is easier to get a job now than in the past?
Is it important to be successful in a job?
Do you think Al will take over many jobs?
Can Al improve people’s lives? If so, how?
1. What kind of jobs do young Vietnamese people like to do?
Tons of them, really. It depends on many factors.
But I do believe there is a rising trend of the young to pursue jobs of their own interest. There was this stereotypical story in the past that parental orientation and social networking would mostly drive the young’s career the way they might not be in favour of. Especially with jobs that older generational ideologies would deem as indecent, like singers, painters, and other artistic ones.
Other than that, I believe many of them consider entering the digital fields with much confidence and potential because of the era we’re in right now. Information technology, computer science, cyber security, you name it.
2. Do young Vietnamese people prefer to choose an interesting job or a job with a high salary?
I cant really tell because it depends on personal background and individual choices. But if I have to pick one, I would say a job with a high salary. Who would not want to earn a fortune?
However, I am aware of the fact that some of my friends quit their jobs at big enterprises just to follow their dreams which might not grant them financial advantages but are really intriguing indeed.
- Earn a fortune (phr): kiếm được số tiền lớn
3. Do you think it is easier to get a job now than in the past?
I hold a firm believe so, for sure. An increasing number of new occupations are being born every day thanks to the advancement of technology. So people have a wide variety of choices already. And as long as a person is competent, or passionate, and determined, etc; I reckon securing themselves some jobs is not that big of a challenge.
4. Is it important to be successful in a job?
It is, definitely. Frankly speaking, if you plant a tree, you would often expect it to produce flowers and fruits, right? But I strongly believe success is not the only important matter. Daily satisfaction of doing the job you like, minor progress you make when bettering yourself could be two examples of not less significant aspects in a job too. Other ideas that springs to my mind is being with a charismatic leader, being with amiable colleagues, being able to grow with time. Those, I regard just as essential as reaching an achievement.
5. Do you think Al will take over many jobs?
Yes, AI holds a phenomenal potential, doesn’t it? It “has been taking over” jobs as a matter of fact, and I believe it will continue to do so. But whether how many jobs would be replaced, I don’t think I have enough expertise to tell. I could only say for sure that it’s a fast-growing field and a super smart tool which could reduce labour use in many industry sectors.
6. Can Al improve people’s lives? If so, how?
Absolutely yes. Take ChatGPT and its rising counterparts for example, lots of useful knowledge has been spread and it does not only join a hand at the workplace for, say, content creators; but it also helps in the educational industry, where students could self-teach with its help.
What more I could think of now is how embedded AI robots and daily life’s equipment such as cars and other machinery are developed, bringing a multitude of advantages to our lives.
