1. What is the most popular electronic device?
I mean, hands down, it has got to be the smartphone. It is an essential piece of technology for everyone these days as people rely on smartphones for almost everything, from managing their finances through online banking applications to handling their work communications through email or messenger. They also play a huge role in providing people with recreation through mobile games or social media. Hence, everyone owns a smartphone nowadays.

2. Some people think that electronic equipment bring more benefits while the others think it brings more harms, what is your opinion?
I think that electronics are a double-edged sword. The extent to which they negatively or positively affect us depends on how we utilize them. One the one hand, devices such as laptops and smartphones have revolutionized productivity, enabling people to do so much on their laptops with applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint. On the other hand, if not used in moderation, people can become addicted to their screens, which can be time-coming and unhealthy.

3. How have electronic devices changed our daily lives?
Well, in countless ways. As I’ve said before, people can achieve greater productivity with their devices, with things like built-in AI to help them carry out tasks. They have also made people more connected as well since applications like Messenger or FaceTime allow people to keep in touch with loved ones regardless of geographical boundaries.
4. What are the disadvantages of using electronic devices?
For one, they are designed to be addictive. Applications on your smartphones such as social media have features meant to entice more usage, such as tracking your preferences and hobbies to suggest more relevant content. Admittedly, this improves your experience online but if done excessively, could get people hooked on their devices for hours on end. There’s also the matter of privacy infringement, as service providers and even governments could eavesdrop on people illegally for nefarious purposes

5. Do you think people rely too much on technology?
Yes. Technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in our lives, and it’s unavoidable that people abuse it. For example, I have heard stories about students using Chat-GPT to solve even the simplest of math problems. If left unchecked, I believe this trend would have detrimental consequences on our education, and by extension, our society.
