1. Do you think kids like to share? Why?

Kids’ inclination to share can vary greatly depending on their personality and upbringing. Generally, younger children may be more possessive of their belongings as they are still developing a sense of self and ownership. However, as they grow and learn social norms, they start to understand the value of sharing. The joy of communal play and positive reinforcement from adults can encourage them to share more willingly.

  • upbringing (n): sự nuôi dưỡng
  • sense of self (n): ý niệm về bản ngã
  • social norms (n): chuẩn mực xã hội

2. How can parents teach their children to share?

Parents can teach their children to share by modeling sharing behavior themselves and providing positive reinforcement when children do share. They can create opportunities for sharing, such as organizing playdates where toys and games are shared among children. Storytelling and role-playing can also be effective in teaching the concept of empathy and the joy of sharing. Additionally, praising children when they share can reinforce this behavior.

  • reinforcement (n): sự tăng cường, củng cố
  • empathy (n): sự đồng cảm

3. What do you think is the benefit of sharing for children?

Sharing helps children develop important social skills such as empathy, cooperation, and communication. It teaches them to understand others’ needs and feelings, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Moreover, sharing can enhance children’s problem-solving abilities and adaptability, as they learn to negotiate and compromise. These skills are crucial for their overall emotional and social development.

  • sense of community (n): ý thức cộng đồng
  • compromise (v): thoả hiệp

4. Is there anything that parents should persuade children to share with others?

Parents should encourage children to share toys, books, and games with their peers, as these items can facilitate social interaction and collective enjoyment. Additionally, sharing snacks or treats during group activities can foster a sense of camaraderie. It’s important for parents to balance this with teaching children about personal boundaries and the importance of respecting others’ belongings as well.

  • treat (n): phần thưởng
  • personal boundaries (n): ranh giới cá nhân

5. How can governments encourage shared transport?

Governments can promote shared transport through various initiatives such as improving public transportation infrastructure, offering subsidies or tax incentives for using public transit, and implementing carpooling programs. Investing in bike-sharing systems and providing safe cycling paths can also encourage more people to share transport. Additionally, public awareness campaigns highlighting the environmental and economic benefits of shared transport can motivate citizens to adopt these practices.

  • initiatives (n): sáng kiến
  • carpooling (n): dịch vụ đi xe chung với người lạ
  • bike-sharing systems (n): hệ thống cho thuê xe đạp công cộng

6. Why is it important to share food with others during a celebration?

Sharing food during celebrations is a longstanding tradition that symbolizes unity, generosity, and community. It brings people together, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect. Food sharing during festivities allows individuals to connect, communicate, and celebrate together, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. It also provides an opportunity to experience different cultures and traditions, enhancing social bonds and understanding.

  • unity (n): sự đoàn kết
  • sense of belonging (n): cảm giác thuộc về
