1. What would parents prepare when their kids go to school on the first day?
The first day of primary school is always a significant milestone in everyone’s life. Therefore, parents always try their best to prepare their children both physically and mentally for this important event. Firstly when it comes to necessary items, a school bag containing textbooks, rulers, pencils and an eraser cannot be forgotten. Then, for mental preparation, parents will instruct their children how to stay independent and behave properly away from their home comforts.
- Milestone: Cột mốc, dấu mốc
- Mental preparation: Chuẩn bị tâm lý
There are numerous ways in which children can interact with each other. They can socialize through verbal communication, such as talking and sharing stories, or through non-verbal communication, as seen in playing games or physical activities. Besides, with the development of the internet, they can communicate by using social networking sites including Facebook, and Instagram… These platforms enable them to make friends from different countries with just a click, then they may text, make video calls or see other new activities.
Absolutely, it is crucial for children to socialize with other people for several reasons. Being able to socialize with others at a young age is a step for children to build confidence, which is a decisive factor in determining a person’s success. In fact, a confident child is believed to perform more outstandingly than a shy one. On top of that, socialization helps children to develop the skills and knowledge they need to communicate with others, strengthen relationships and widen their social circle.
- Decisive factor: Nhân tố quyết định
4. What are the reasons for a job change?
From my point of view, there are many causes of job-switching. The first reason could be that many youngsters are unclear about their career path, they try out jobs to discover what suits them the most. The other key reason is young people want to be equipped with a diverse skill set so that in the future when a new job is offered to them, they will be better prepared and easily keep up with the work assigned to them.
- Job-switching: Đổi việc
5. Are big companies better than small companies? Why?
Well, I think I would have to say Yes due to the fact that big organizations will offer employees more benefits. Firstly, large companies offer their employees high salaries and bonuses as well as generous retirement packages. Furthermore, big corporations have a more modern and professional working environment and equip staff with a diverse skill set so that staff can easily keep up with the work assigned.
- Keep up with: Theo kịp
6. What are the advantages and disadvantages coming along with changing jobs?
I have to say that job-hopping in recent days can bring both benefits and drawbacks. On the positive side, job switching often comes with a salary increase. Also, it can grant you opportunities to learn new skills, gain practical experience and widen social circles. By contrast, a person changing his or her jobs too frequently means they don’t have commitment to companies. As a result, they are more likely to be turned down by their next employers. Besides, job hopping can also cost you benefits such as insurance or retirement income.
- Turn down: Từ chối
