1. Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
I would definitely go for the latter. I don’t really like a spacious house that needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. By contrast, an apartment is smaller and surrounded by a range of amenities that I enjoy using, such as a supermarket, a gym, a swimming pool, and other shops.

2. Is it better to own your home or to rent?
It really depends. Renting would be a better choice for me when I was younger, as a student at uni. Because that was when I was mostly occupied with studying at school and voluntary activities, I didn’t stay at home very often. But now, I’m a grown-up and spending much more time at home, I think owning a house suits me better. And to be honest, lately I have become interested in home decorating, and definitely, nothing compares to doing it in my own apartment.

3. How different are relations between neighbors in cities and in the countryside?
There’s a distinct difference between relationships between people in two places. To start with, people in rural areas are comfortable living in a community where they often share, from food to daily stories. They’d like to listen to others’ advice and also give them opinions in return. However, city dwellers are more inclined to enjoy the anonymity of metropolises. They aren’t keen on having people offering comments about what is theirs to keep. So, in cities, it’s normal that people don’t even know the name of someone living next door.

4. What accommodation options are available to young people in your country?
Thanks to the development of accommodation, these days, there is a wide range of choices for the young, depending on their financial status. For those who cannot afford a big house, they can opt for a studio apartment that can be still fully furnished. Some groups of youngsters are renting a big house then share it with each other to reduce the cost.
