Phân tích yêu cầu đề bài: You are asked whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of converting public parks and open spaces into community gardens. 

2. Dàn bài chi tiết

Introduction 

• Paraphrase the topic: In some urban areas, public parks are being converted into gardens for local food production. 

• State opinion: While this initiative has a few downsides, I believe the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. 

Body Paragraph 1 – Advantages 

• Promotes sustainability and food security: Allows residents to grow fresh, organic produce. 

• Encourages community building: People work together, improving social cohesion. 

• Educates children and adults about agriculture, health, and environmental responsibility. 

• Example: Urban farming initiatives in cities like Toronto or Seoul have reduced food costs and built stronger neighborhoods. 

Body Paragraph 2 – Disadvantages 

• Loss of recreational space: People may lose access to green areas for sports or relaxation. 

• Maintenance issues: Poorly managed gardens could become eyesores or attract pests. 

• Unequal access: Not all residents may benefit equally, leading to disputes over land use. 

• However, these can often be mitigated with proper planning and shared guidelines. 

Conclusion 

• Acknowledge the minor drawbacks. 

• Emphasize that the long-term advantages—health, community, education, and sustainability—outweigh the disadvantages. 

• Call for smart planning to balance gardening with recreation.
