Câu trả lời mẫu (Sample Answer)

1. Do you think you are a creative person?

Yes – authenticity is more of a skill than talent, and in order to hone this skill, one needs practice. E.g., in my line of work, IELTS tutoring, there is only a restricted, fixed set of activities that can be applied in the classroom. In order to seem more creative, I have had to spend time researching new techniques and applications for the students to make the lessons a little easier to digest. To them, it’s creativity, but to me, it’s hours of hard work.

  • IELTS tutoring: dạy kèm IELTS
  • digest: hiểu

2. Is it good for children to learn arts?

Parents should put their children in art classes for several reasons. First, music and art stimulate the part of the brain associated with academic performance, which means better results in basic math and reading skills. Additionally, activities like playing musical instruments or holding a paintbrush helps improve their motor skills, benefiting their ability to write and take up sports. So instead of seeing art as an extracurricular activity, we should think of it as part of the kids’ education.

  • stimulate: kích thích, thúc đẩy
  • hold a paintbrush: cầm cọ vẽ
  • extracurricular activity: hoạt động ngoại khóa

3. What kinds of jobs require people to be creative?

To be honest, I’m not sure what type of work each job entails, but what immediately popped up in my head are the professions related to content creating, since the people working in this field have to consistently come up with new materials and ideas on a daily basis. Take Hoa Lo Prison Relic in Vietnam as an example. It used to be a prison back in the 80s and 90s but has turned into a tourist attraction nowadays. The relic remained wildly unpopular among the youth in Vietnam, but their new marketing team have been able to bring in thousands of young visitors every month thanks to the authentic comedic content they upload on social media, all of which are highly relatable to the young generation. This type of innovation has really raised the bar for other touristy spots in Vietnam.

  • entail: đòi hỏi, yêu cầu
  • the relic: khu di tích
  • widdly: rộng rãi
  • relatable: phù hợp
  • touristy spots: các điểm du lịch

4. Do you think leaders need to have creative ability?

I think it is an indispensable trait for modern leaders. In light of the rigid environment of the workplace, especially in a corporate setting, a progressive and inventive manager can look at and solve problems from new perspectives. Besides, as companies expand and change over time, lower-level employees may sometimes feel forgotten. Innovative leaders can remedy this mindset by offering unconventional solutions and ideas to include everyone in the collective success of the company.
