1. At what age should children have their own decisions/opinions?
I don’t think there’s a limit as to when a child can form their own views on matters. I think a healthy mind, which is the fountain for righteous thoughts is educated and trained from an early age with the guidance of the grown-ups.
2. What are the benefits when children have their own ideas/opinions?
By being given the rights to have an opinion at an early age, children are empowered to strengthen their critical thinking and decision making skills, which ultimately help prepare them for adulthood.
3. What are the responsibilities of teachers in helping children develop their ideas/opinions?
Being taught at home by parents coupled with being assisted and supervised at schools by teachers would create an ideal environment for the children to become a global and helpful resident of their country. Therefore I think that teachers should assist students in forming a healthy perspective of the world.
4. Do you think children are taught to have the same ideas with their parents?
In today’s world, no, under most circumstances. It was the case maybe 2 or 3 decades ago but contemporary parents from the GenX are quite tolerant of new, refreshing concepts, and the way they raise their children follows suit.
