2. Bài mẫu
The line graph depicts the trends of average Japanese monthly income, and the prices of televisions – with and without color, from 1970 to 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that while TV prices witnessed a downward trend, the average Japanese people’s monthly wages experienced an exponential increase.
In terms of monthly salary, throughout 2 decades from 1970 to 1990, a slow growth was documented from nearly 20 yen, then the trend started to become more pronounced, having reached over 30 yen. From the latter half of the 1990s, the figure skyrocketed, having superseded the declining numbers of television prices, and peaked at nearly 70 yen.
In contrast, television prices experienced a downturn. Black and white televisions had the highest price range in 1970, being 110 yen; however, it fell drastically to 40 yen towards near 1980. It progressively decreased to 20 yen from 1980 to 2000, which was the lowest of the three figures. Similarly, colored television prices plummeted within a few years from 1980 from 100 yen to below 70 yen, then steadily went downwards to nearly 50 yen towards 2000.
