Manufacturing:
• Male employment: dropped from 32% (1986) → 21% (1996) → 17% (2006)
• Female employment: fell from 18% → 12% → 6% → Steady decrease in both genders, with men always higher.
Education:
• Female employment: 33% → 35% → 38%
• Male: remained low, 13%-15% range → Female-dominated sector with slight increase over time.

Catering:

2. Bài mẫu
The table provides information on the employment rates of males and females in four different sectors—catering, banking, manufacturing, and education—during the years 1986, 1996, and 2006.
Overall, the manufacturing sector saw the most significant drop in employment over the period, particularly among men. In contrast, women were consistently overrepresented in the education sector compared to their male counterparts.
In the manufacturing industry, the proportion of employed men decreased steadily from 32% in 1986 to 17% in 2006, while the figure for women declined even more sharply, from 18% to just 6%. Despite the overall fall, male employment remained consistently higher than female employment in this sector. Meanwhile, education displayed a clear gender divide in the opposite direction. Female representation grew gradually from 33% to 38%, while male employment hovered around 13% to 15% throughout the period, making the education sector primarily dominated by women.
Turning to catering, female employment stayed constant at 26% in all three years, whereas the proportion of men in this field climbed from 16% to 22%, suggesting a growing male presence. As for banking, both genders experienced notable growth in employment rates. The percentage of men working in the sector nearly doubled from 11% to 21%, while women’s participation rose from 12% to 19%, reflecting a narrowing gender gap in this field.
