1. What kind of personality should a person have to be able to take risks?
From my perspective, there are quite a few personality traits that bold risk-takers possess. One of them is resilience. I mean, I believe that a person who is always ready to bounce back after a fall or a wrong decision is the one that can climb to the top. So, if one accepts the challenge and will keep moving forward no matter what happens, he will definitely be a winner. Another characteristic is sensation seeking. This is synonymous with the readiness and preparation for everything beforehand. This will help people face different situations and potential problems with the best preparedness, thereby increasing their adaptability to any circumstances.

I think the answer to this might vary depending on each person’s point of view. For many, engaging in adventures can definitely help broaden their horizons. Traveling offers people a wide range of opportunities and experiences to enhance their understanding of the world. By experiencing new environments, people not only have a more profound knowledge of the locals, but also the language and the culture from different places. However, some might hold a view that knowledge can still be obtained through other activities such as reading, communicating and researching without the need of embarking on a journey to somewhere.

3. Why do they like to read adventure stories instead of experiencing them?
Well, I think firstly it’s because of the time constraint. Modern life has been too hectic for people to escape for a few days to go traveling, so they can only experience it through books and stories. Finance is another aspect that hinders people from going on excursions. In fact, flight tickets, hotel reservations and food costs are fairly exorbitant for youngsters. This is why instead of saving a great amount of money to go traveling, people tend to gravitate towards less costly experiences like reading.
