1. Can you name any other inventions that have had a big impact on human Society?
There is a plethora of inventions that have exerted enormous impact on our lives. The first thing that comes to mind is social media, which has transformed the way we socialize and interact with one another. For example, Facebook has helped us virtually keep in touch with our acquaintances living far away and also befriend people all over the world.
Another important invention could be the airplane, which has helped us to travel faster so it’s more feasible to discover different pockets of the earth.
2. What do you think makes an invention “useful”?
Given the fact that I am a bit of a pragmatist, I reckon a useful invention is one that has numerous applications that can help boost our productivity and meet our daily needs.
For example, a phone is the electronic device that I use every day. It is immensely helpful in the sense that I can do a great number of activities on it such as studying, working, and entertaining myself.
3. What new invention(s) would you like to be available in the future?
Numerous inventions. I would like to have a robot that can help with every household task such as sweeping, washing the dishes and cooking automatically. What I need to do is just speak to it and give orders. That would be fantastic.
4. What are some examples of inventions that are used in the home?
In my household, we embrace top notch technologies and we have used quite a few electronic devices to make our life easier.
Foremost among these is the smart washing machine. I mean it is automatic, you just need to give orders verbally with it and it will automatically wash and dry your clothes, which I think is ingenious.
Another device I am a big fan of in my house is the vacuum cleaner. It is fast and long lasting. I mean I can use it to suck all the dirt and dust within 60 minutes without the force being reduced.
- Ingenious: Mang tính đổi mới
5. Do you think these inventions tend to make people lazy?
To my mind, This is not strictly true. On the one hand, these machines can free people of Daily menial tasks that are time-consuming and repetitive. This could mean that people can be lazier without doing household chores manually.
Having said that, the way I see it, people can use this free time to do other things that are more productive and lucrative such as creating content on social media to earn money. That can be an idea although it may not be the case for everyone.
- Lucrative: có lợi nhuận
- Menial tasks: công việc nhỏ nhặt
6. What are some examples of electronic or electrical equipment that are used in schools (in classrooms)?
I reckon, there is a rich variety of electrical equipment that is used at school to improve the learning experiences of students.
For starters, the projector and a large screen TV are commonly used in many classrooms nowadays. This is a fantastic way to help learners visualize the knowledge and help them retain what they have learned more effectively.
What’s more, I can see some schools which have adopted a scheme where students can use phones to play interactive games such as Kahut to kindle their interest in study. This is a good way but we need to control the use of smartphones otherwise children may be addicted and this can be counterproductive.
- Visualize: hình dung
7. What kinds of new technology connected to health do you think might appear in the future?
All sources of technological devices
Foremost among these is the app where people can have access to digitized healthcare. On this app, people should be able to make appointments to see the doctor, have a video call with them to show them the problems, the symptoms and get prescriptions.Another kind of app is one that helps people control many aspects of their health better. I am in the app that allows people to measure heart beats, temperatures accurately and flag up some potential dangers to help people avert health problems.
- Digitized: số hóa
