1. Are you a tidy person?
When it comes to tidiness, I am pretty much confident about it. I’ve been living alone for 3 years and this whole time has taught me how to clean everything up on my own. The fact that when I catch sight of something not really in the right place or dirty, I will definitely take action right away as I truly believe this can boost my focus and productivity to a certain degree. And don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t say I’m that spotless though.
2. Do you think people should be tidy all the time?
1st way: Well, I would go for a yes, but life doesn’t always go easy on you. There will be some times that people have to deal with their hectic schedule and cannot really have everything cleaned and therefore I guess we shouldn’t be too harsh on ourselves about it but still, it’s always better to be neat, isn’t it?
2nd way: For sure, in my eyes, it’s really important to stay clean all the time because without it, the dirt or unorganized things can annoy us and become even worse when this may take a toll on our own health. For example, being too lazy to throw out the trash or wash the dishes for a long time can attract bacteria and a terrible smell to our place, which is totally detrimental to our comfort and health in general. All in all, it’s essential that people be tidy as much as they can.
3. Are you tidier at work or at home?
I pride myself on being tidy both at work and home. But back then, I used to be neat only when I went to work because I guess we are living in a community where appearance is too important so we definitely don’t want to appear disheveled in front of many people. People say “Fake it till you make it”, and it’s true. Luckily, being tidy is no longer a part-time job for me.
4. How do you usually keep your place tidy?
Well, like I have told you earlier, I’m not really a perfectionist so I just try to spend at least half an hour every day doing some household chores such as sweeping and mopping the floor, taking out the trash. Another way that I find it helpful is organizing my items, utensils at particular spots so that I can get rid of the habit of putting things all over the place, which is one of the roots of being disorganized.
