2. Bài mẫu
There is an ongoing debate over whether job satisfaction or employment security should be given greater priority. While a permanent position undoubtedly provides financial and psychological stability, I believe that career fulfilment is ultimately more important, provided that an individual has a reasonable degree of financial security.
On the one hand, there are strong reasons why many people place greater value on a permanent job. The most obvious benefit is financial stability. A regular and predictable income enables employees to meet essential expenses such as housing, healthcare and education, which is particularly important for those with dependants or significant financial obligations. Job security also provides a sense of psychological reassurance. Employees who are relatively confident that they will not suddenly lose their income are less likely to experience constant financial anxiety. This stability also allows people to make long-term commitments, such as buying a home, raising a family or saving for retirement.
On the other hand, I believe career fulfilment carries greater importance in the long run because it strongly affects both performance and well-being. Employees who find their work meaningful and enjoyable are generally more motivated to develop their skills, take initiative and perform at a high level. This can improve not only productivity but also their prospects for career progression. More importantly, a secure job can still become deeply unsatisfying if the employee feels bored, undervalued or disconnected from their work. Remaining in such a position for many years may lead to chronic stress, disengagement and even occupational burnout. By contrast, people who derive genuine satisfaction from their work are more likely to sustain motivation and maintain a healthier relationship with their careers.
In conclusion, job security is undeniably important because it provides financial stability and enables long-term planning. However, once basic economic needs are met, I believe job satisfaction becomes more significant because it contributes to better performance, mental well-being and a more sustainable career.
