Phân tích đề bài IELTS Writing Task 1 Student Room
The plans below show a student room for two people and a student room for one person at an Australian University. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Hai maps này là bản đồ layouts của 2 căn phòng: 1 phòng đơn và 1 phòng đôi trong ký túc xá ở 1 trường Đại học ở Úc.
Với dạng bài này, các bạn nên nhìn bản đồ từ trên xuống dưới rồi có thể từ trái qua phải hoặc từ phải qua trái rồi khoanh/đánh dấu vào điểm khác biệt giữa 2 hình.

1. Introduction
Ở đoạn Introduction, chúng ta sẽ paraphrase lại đề bài. Bạn đọc nên viết nhiều hơn 1 cụm paraphrase để dùng trong các đoạn paragraphs ở phía sau.
Một số cụm từ paraphrase các bạn có thể tham khảo:
- show = demonstrate = illustrate = detail = indicate
- A student room for 2 people = a double dorm room (layout) = a student room for 2 occupants
- A student room for one person = a single dorm room (layout) = a student room for a single occupant
- OR 2 student rooms = the layout plans of 2 different rooms specifically designed to accommodate a single and two occupants
2. Overview
Đoạn overview của dạng bài Writing Task 1 sẽ nhận xét chung những đặc điểm nổi bật. Một số điểm khác nhau giữa 2 maps:
- Prices (giá cả)
- Widths (chiều rộng)
- Arrangements of the same equipment (sự sắp xếp của những thiết bị giống nhau)
- The number of extra in-room facilities (số thiết bị/đồ đạc thêm ở phòng đôi)
3. Body paragraph 1: the differences between 2 rooms
