2. Dàn bài chi tiết
Introduction:
- Provide the readers with context: the group of people at 60-year-old and above makes up a tenth of the population and this number is increasing
- State the viewpoint that you disagree with: they should retire and stay home
- State your viewpoint: they can keep working under right conditions
- Give the outline of the essay: why and how older workers can stay in the force
Body paragraph
Argument 1: older people are not frail, they are capable
- Clarify: they suffer less chronic health conditions
- Result: they can still be part of the workforce
- Example: they can financially support themselves
Argument 2: older people can offer valuable manpower
- Clarify: they have better people skill than younger employees
- Explain: years of experience and training
- Result: they make better managers and trainers
Conclusion
- Restate your opinion: working at later stage in life is optional to both employees and their employers
- Summarize the main points: the grey workers can continue to do manual or intellectual jobs
- Make prediction: more company will seek consultancy from seniors, or they would run their own business
- Give suggestion: there should be a transition in the form of part-time job before retirement.
