1. Do you like geography?
I would say yes. Though people in my country normally see it as a monotonous and dull subject, for me geography is the synonym for exploring the world. I mean I could use things I learn from this subject to learn about the physical properties of Earth’s surface, and to study places and the relationships between people and their environments.

2. Have you ever studied geography at school?
Absolutely! I mean geography is one of the compulsory parts of the curriculum in my country. And as a person who is so curious about the Earth, I’d say I was having a whale of a time learning things in my geography classes.

3. Are you good at reading a map?
Gosh, it’s one of my fortes, you know. People around me say I have a good sense of direction, so reading maps is like a walk in the park for me. I don’t understand why some could downplay the role of map reading. ‘Cuz the way I see it, this is a vital life skill which could come in handy when you get lost, you know.

4. Would you visit a country because of its geographical location?
Totally yes. You know, where the place is is something I always take into consideration when I am about to travel. If the country of interest is close to existing air traffic routes from large population centers, then chances are I would be more likely to go there.
By contrast, countries that are not under any direct air routes that carry major traffic like many African ones wouldn’t be on my traveling list. Because you don’t really want to go to an isolated place, do you?
