1. Do you often go to the library?
Not as often as I used to. During my college years, I religiously burned the midnight oil at the uni library to complete my assignments. Given the fact that I have graduated, there’s no more need for such hard work.
2. What do you usually do in the library?
I had access to some powerful cutting-edge workstations in the library, which allowed me to do some demanding video editing tasks. Apart from that, some study pods were also available for group study. They were where I learned how to stay well-composed and not to kill my colleagues the hard way.
3. Did you go to the library when you were a child?
Not at all. This was simply because there weren’t too many readily available in Hanoi in the olden days. I can’t imagine any kid would spend 5 hours on a bus reading a book for half an hour and then go home.
4. Do Vietnamese kids often go to the library?
Some do but some don’t. For the most part, book reading culture in Vietnam is poor but I personally know quite a few parents who take their well-read children to a local library every weekend. This habit testifies to the parents’ unequivocal commitment to their kids’ education.
