1. What do you think your best personal qualities are? Why?
I’ll try to answer this question without sounding like a narcissist. I reckon that one of my most valuable virtues is my kindness. I believe in being nice to people and try to understand where they’re coming from instead of judging or antagonizing them on a spot when I see them do something I don’t like. Another quality that I could think of is temperance. I don’t like indulging in eating, drinking or shopping and I tend not to think too highly of myself, which keeps me grounded and stay out of trouble.

In terms of personality traits, my folks and I are like day and night. They are well put together both literally and figuratively while I’m more chaotic and spontaneous. My mother is always organized and plans ahead whenever we’re going out together or on vacation. I, on the other hand, am a little messy and can never manage my time or schedule to save my life.

3. What personal qualities are important to you in a friend? (Why?)
In order to maintain a healthy friendship, it’s essential to be compassionate and caring towards one another. Sometimes, I feel blue and want to vent. I don’t want my friend to turn their back on me and wait until I’m ok to associate with me again. I need them to show sympathy and at least attempt to lift my mood with their words or actions because what’s the point of having friends when you’re on your own the second things get tough?

4. Do you think you have the personal qualities to be a good/successful leader? (Why/Why not?)
I haven’t had the experience of being a leader to figure this out, but if I must take a guess, I would say no because effective leadership requires emotional intelligence and clear communication, which I unfortunately don’t possess. In the future, I might have to work on my social awkwardness and lack of interpersonal skills if I want to advance in my career.
