1. Do you like wearing T-shirts?
Sample 1: Yes, I do. Because nothing is more fashionably versatile than a simple Tee, T-shirts can go with everything. And as someone who has a slightly heavier stature than average, I find the flexible fabric of most T-shirts to be extremely comfortable.

Sample 2: Yes, a hundred percent. I mean you can never go wrong with T-shirts and it’s also super easy to mix and match them with other pieces of clothing, whether it’s for a casual get-together or formal occasion.

- Piece of clothing: any item of clothing, like a T-shirt or socks (quần/áo)

2. How often do you wear T-shirts?
Sample 1: I don a T-shirt almost every day since a simple one can pass as being both casual for social gatherings and semi-formal for work-related events, especially if paired with a blazer or a jacket.

Sample 2: Almost on a daily basis I would say. I think the best thing about a good tee is that it is so breathable that it offers great comfort. Plus, given the scorching hot weather of Saigon these days, nothing can beat a simple tee.

3. Do you like T-shirts with pictures or prints?
Sample 1: Not really, I love my T-shirts simple with one solid color, though I would tolerate a Tee with some simple patterns or a small typography design on rare occasions. I have seen my fair share of designs on many T-shirts and unfortunately, they mostly seem too tacky.

Sample 2: To be honest, I don’t mind a tee with patterns or graphics as long as it suits my taste, but given a choice, I’d like them to be simple and small.

4. Do you think older people who wear T-shirts are fashionable?
Sample 1: Yes definitely, like I have previously stated, T-shirts are extremely versatile so anyone can wear one. But picking the right size can be trickier for senior citizens, especially if he or she is conscious about their bodies because most elderly people have a higher BMI or Body Mass Index compared to a teenager or a middle-aged adult, which can make them seem chubbier than they are. I would recommend choosing a bigger T-shirt for a more comfortable fit.

Sample 2: Definitely! As I’ve mentioned before, T-shirts are so versatile that you can mix and match them with almost any item in your closet. I’ve seen quite a few senior citizens pair their tee with jeans, blazers or sneakers. This kind of simplicity never goes out of style, you know.

Sample 1: That’d be a no for me because T-shirts sold at gift shops or stores in a holiday destination usually have graphics that depict recognizable features of that place, such as a famous landmark or even a famous dish that has put that place on the map. And wearing a t-shirt that has an oversized picture of anything is just too extreme for my taste.

- Put something on the map (idiom/slang): khiến cái gì đó trở nên nổi tiếng
Sample 2: The problem with T-shirts at hot tourist spots is that they normally have the name or well-known landmarks of the place printed on both the front and back and to be honest, designs of this kind don’t suit my style. But I might give it a go if I can find one with more aesthetic graphics or prints.

- Aesthetic (adj) beautiful to look at (đẹp, có tính nghệ thuật)
